Static artifacts were not enough for the decisions we needed to make.

Design documentation explained intent. It did not communicate experience. FC-Design-Lab allowed stakeholders to interact with product behavior instead of interpreting static deliverables, reducing translation loss before implementation.

Problem

Traditional Figma prototypes created translation loss and slowed product validation.

Static prototypes showed what interfaces looked like, but not how products behaved. Teams were making implementation decisions without experiencing real workflows, edge cases, or interaction logic.

System

Built a React/Vite prototyping infrastructure for full-fidelity product testing.

FC-Design-Lab replaced presentation artifacts with reusable React/Vite product infrastructure, allowing stakeholders to explore realistic states, interactions, and implementation tradeoffs before engineering investment.

Result

Roughly 80% of product validation now happens through coded prototypes.

Product conversations shifted from reviewing mockups to validating behavior, reducing ambiguity, accelerating decisions, and creating stronger alignment before development.
